TEN TIPS ABOUT HEATING SYSTEMS TO SAVE AND RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT.

Last time we asked ourselves an important question: is there anything that can be done in our houses to reduce the heating systems consumption and make them more efficient while respecting the environment?

Let’s see together 3 other tips suggested by ENEA.

4)Install reflective panels between the wall and the radiator. A simple but very effective solution that reduces heat loss, especially if the radiator is embedded in the wall, reducing its thickness and degree of insulation.

5) Screen the windows during the night. Closing shutters or use heavy curtains reduces heat loss to the outside.

6) Avoid obstacles in front of and above the radiators. Having curtains or furniture in front of the radiators or using the radiators as a laundry dryer, reduces the diffusion of heat in the room and is a source of waste. It is also good to remember not to leave the windows open for too long: a few minutes are enough to ventilate a room, leaving them open for a too long period leads to unnecessary heat loss.

In the next appointment we will conclude this Enea tips path with the last 4 very precious points.
